More than just the hustle and bustle, more than just the lights, more than just parties and reunions with family and friends, more than just the giving and receiving of gifts. CHRISTmas is much more than this.
CHRISTmas is the celebration of the Greatest Gift ever given to mankind. It was a 33yr period that began a long time ago at a manger in Bethlehem and culminated at the cross on Golgotha.
It is the story of God who loves us inspite of who we are and making a way for us to be redeemed and of CHRIST who would rather die on the cross than live without us. It is a story of Love, Mercy, Sacrifice, Forgiveness and Redemption. CHRISTmas without CHRIST simply makes no sense.
Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Isn’t now the perfect time to know the CHRIST of CHRISTmas?
