Last year, our family had a chance to travel with my beach loving in-law clan to Zambawood in San Narciso, Zambales. It was one of those places where the moment I stepped into the place, I immediately knew that if I am given a chance, I will definitely return to visit. Well, my wish was granted and this year, again with my beach loving in-law clan, we travelled to Zambawood for a 3 days stay. It was really bliss for me and it’s a place that I will not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Check out their website www.zambawood.com for more details.
Zambawood offers a lot of photography opportunities, from it’s tasteful post-modern resort house to the private beach and the scenic route from the resort to the beach. Last year when I visited Zambawood, I travelled with 2 cameras – the Fuji X-T1 and the Panasonic LX100 (both of which are already sold). This trip was the first chance for me to try out my new Fuji X-Pro 2 and I also brought along my Sony RX100 M4. The X-Pro 2 was used to shoot the resort itself while the RX100 M4 was used to shoot the beach. I’ll just let the photos do the talking. I hope that I’ll be blessed with opportunities for a return trip 🙂

Zambawood also has a private 1 km beach front which is a mere 5 minute scenic walk from the main house.
