Fuji X-Pro 2

I’ve always loved the idea of a slightly smaller camera for everyday and travel use. I am really thankful for the advancement in the mirrorless camera technology and specially to Fuji for making such great cameras. Although I still have my full frame Nikon and lenses with me, it is the Fuji cameras that gets the most use. I recently sold my Fuji X-T1 to help finance the purchase of the Fuji X-Pro 2. I’ve always loved and preferred the shape of a range finder camera over that of a SLR shape, that is why the X-Pro 2 is perfect for me. I’ve been asked many times why I choose Fuji over other brands. It’s simply because Fuji works for me. The design, the dedication to excellence, the awesome jpeg files, the exquisitely crafted units and lenses, the wonderful film emulations and after sales care and service they provided are unmatched in the camera industry (at least here in the Philippines).  Where else can you find a camera manufacturer that churns out firmware updates for models that are several years old? This is not a review of the Fuji X-Pr0 2, you can find plenty of that on the net.  This is simply me appreciating what Fuji has brought onto the table for me. 🙂

Here is the Fuji X-Pro 2 with the 35mm f/2 WR (Kindly click on each photo for a larger view.)

Here are some shots I was able to take with this beauty 🙂

    1. Haha it all depends on your preferred form factor. Both will give you awesome images and performance. I’m sure the soon to be announced X-T2 will have the “new” factor with added features 🙂
