The strongest person in the world is the one with the largest capacity to forgive. Christ set the bar for us when He forgave while nailed on the cross. It’s a hard lesson to learn but one that we need to learn. Harboring an unforgiving heart and bitterness is like taking poison and hoping the other person dies from it. We are only harming ourselves by being unforgiving.
Mark 11:25 – And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Ephesians 4:32 – Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
